In the process of becoming certified and established as organic growers, Eric and Samantha’s vineyard lies in the Happy Canyon area of the Santa Ynez Valley. Life on the vineyard is more than a job for the couple as they actually live on the property with their two sons Ozzy and Cash. A modern day farm, the Coghlans are family-oriented animal lovers, and they can be seen strolling the vineyard as a family with their many pets following in unison. As they only expect the best for their sons, the Coghlans are also very passionate about growing organically and choosing only the best fruits for their wines. The estate vineyard has been planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cab Franc, and Grenache Blanc. They had their first harvest of Cabernet from the estate in 2010. With continued eagerness, they strive toward the growth and development of their estate wine program.
